The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Edda West State Constituency in the House of Assembly, Hon. Joshua Amah Nnanna, has expressed confidence that the party will record a resounding victory across Edda and the rest of Ebonyi State in the 2027 general elections.

Amah made this known while speaking with journalists during an APC campaign rally for local government elections in Edda Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. He expressed optimism about the growing support for the ruling party in the area.

He said the APC had established a strong political presence in Edda, adding that the people of the area were fully committed to supporting the party and its candidates in the forthcoming elections.

According to him, the political structure of the APC in Edda, coupled with the commitment of party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters, will guarantee victory for the party at the polls.

“Edda is APC and APC is Edda. Edda people are fully in support of APC, and we are ready to deliver all the candidates of our great party.

“We have all it takes to deliver. We have the APC chairman and other stakeholders, and we will deliver 100 per cent for our party’s candidates. We will make sure that Hon. Omezue wins the upcoming local government election,” he said.

The APC candidate further appealed to party faithful and supporters to remain united and committed to the party, stressing that victory would depend on sustained mobilisation and grassroots engagement.

Amah also expressed confidence that members of opposition parties in Edda would reconsider their political choices and support APC candidates during the elections.

He said the party would continue to engage stakeholders and residents across the communities to consolidate its support base and ensure victory for all its candidates.

He specifically expressed confidence in the candidacy of Hon. Omezue, the APC chairmanship candidate for Edda Local Government Area, saying the party’s campaign and mobilisation efforts would translate into victory in the August 22, 2026 local government council election.

Amah called on the people of Edda to come out en masse to support APC candidates, assuring them that the party remained committed to advancing the interests and development of the area.

He added that the APC was poised for a landslide victory in both the forthcoming local government election and the 2027 general elections.
