The MSL Support Group for FON has declared its support for the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced by the National Coordinator of the group during a grand endorsement rally organized by the state government and the leadership of the APC in the state. The event was held at the Township Stadium in Abakaliki on Monday.
In an interview with journalists at the event, the coordinator expressed satisfaction with the massive turnout of party faithful and residents. He described it as a demonstration of the people’s confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Nwifuru.
He commended Governor Nwifuru for his administration’s commitment to development and inclusive governance, noting that the governor continues to enjoy widespread support across the state.
The coordinator also praised the governor for the confidence and trust reposed in the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Mbam Stanley Lebechi, whom he described as a dedicated public servant and the founder and leader of the MSL Support Group for FON.
According to him, the achievements recorded by the Tinubu-led administration at the federal level and the Nwifuru administration in Ebonyi State have justified the call for their re-election in 2027.
He urged members of the support group and other stakeholders to remain united and continue mobilizing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC). He expressed optimism that both leaders would secure overwhelming victories in the next general election.
The endorsement rally attracted thousands of APC supporters, political leaders, government officials, youth groups, women’s organizations, support groups, and stakeholders from across Ebonyi State.
The MSL Support Group for FON was one of the many support groups that participated in the grand endorsement rally.
