Nwigwe made this appeal in Abakiliki during a courtesy visit by the Voiceless Women Empowerment Initiative FON, an organization dedicated to empowering widows and vulnerable women in the state

Mrs. Nwigwe, who received the group on behalf of the state Party Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, commended the First Lady, Mrs. Uzoamaka Nwifuru, for her dedication to women's empowerment, children, and displaced persons through her BERWO foundation.

Nwigwe invited the Voiceless Women Empowerment Initiative to join forces with the governor, emphasizing the importance of genuine intentions and upholding their purposes.

She assured Nwigwe of their commitment to supporting the governor's good work and the party's goals.

The visit was seen as a significant development in the party's efforts to engage with women groups and promote women's empowerment in the state.
