The remains of Chief Tony Ebere Ogbu Chukwu, Deputy National Coordinator of the Mezie Edda Grassroot Movement, will be buried on August 22, 2025, in his hometown of Owutu Edda, Edda Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.
According to the funeral progmmme the Wake-Keep will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at his Residence, Achi-nzikpe Owutu Edda, Edda LGA, Ebonyi State.
The funeral Mass will hold at OUR LADY OF LOURDES Catholic Church - Pro Cathedral, Owutu-Edda, Edda LGA, Ebonyi State by 11 am and interment
follows immediately after the funeral Mass at his residence

"Interment follows immediately at his residence"
The Mezie Edda Grassroot Movement has paid tribute to Chief Tony Ebere Ogbu Chukwu, describing him as a committed leader and a shining example of service to the community.
He passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 67.
According to a statement issued by the Organizing Secretary, Hon. Okoro Orji Patrick said his impact was both profound and lasting.
