The Obidient Movement Ebonyi State has reiterated its unwavering commitment to the Labour Party, dismissing recent claims of the coalition's structures being hijacked in the state as baseless and misleading.
In a statement signed by Comrade Splendour Oko Eze (2023 LP Gubernatorial Candidate) and Dr. Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh (2023 LP National Assembly Candidate and Member, National Advisory Committee, Obidient Movement), the movement attributed these claims to individuals from the fractured PDP in the state, known for their divisive politics.
The Obidient Movement reassured its supporters that the core supporters of Mr. Peter Obi remain united and undeterred by these distractions.
The movement expressed appreciation for the continued support and dedication of its followers to the shared vision.
