A cross-section of Ebonyi people have heaped encomiums on Hon. Immaculate Ibe, Coordinator of Afikpo North East Development Centre, for her impactful Market and Empowerment Program.
The initiative, aimed at boosting economic activities and empowering residents, has brought joy and hope to the community.
Recall that the wife of the Ebonyi State Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru, commissioned an ultra-modern market, Ahia Uzoamaka Nwifuru, constructed by Hon. Immaculate Elem Ibe at Afikpo.
The market provides a centralized, modern, and convenient shopping environment for residents of Nkpoghoro Community, Afikpo.
During the commissioning ceremony, the Governor's wife unveiled youth empowerment materials, including money, motorbikes, grinding machines, sewing machines, and vulcanizing machines. She thanked Hon. Immaculate Ibe for complementing her efforts and that of the Governor, acknowledging the positive impact the initiative would have on beneficiaries.
Positive reactions have trailed the commissioning of the Market and Empowerment program.
Residents of the State and community have expressed gratitude to Hon. Immaculate Ibe for the thoughtful initiative, which they believe will improve their livelihoods and provide opportunities for economic growth.
